Supported Capabilities

The following table indicates which GConf features are supported per device. Here’s a breakdown of each column:

  • Backup: GConf can connect to the device and download its current configuration for backup purposes.

  • Discover by SSH: The device can be discovered using SSH protocol. GConf connects via SSH to retrieve necessary information.

  • Discover by SNMP: The device can be discovered using SNMP protocol. GConf queries it using standard SNMP requests.

  • Push Config: GConf supports sending configuration commands directly to the device via the appropriate protocol (typically SSH or Telnet).

  • Push Firmware: GConf supports uploading and upgrading firmware on the device, if the device allows this (typically SSH or Telnet).
